Furwise
#1A cat health record app, built by a vet clinic assistant for multi-cat households. Your whole family shares feeding, weight, meds, and vet visits, building a real picture of each cat over time.
About
Furwise was built by a software engineer who also works part-time as a vet clinic assistant. After his cat Hennessy was diagnosed with FLUTD in 2025, he started building Furwise: the app he wished he'd had back then. Multi-cat households log each cat's feeding, weight, vaccines, and meds together. Over time, each cat's normal and its changes get clearer, and you walk into the vet's office with the full record in hand.
What Furwise is for
In your first month with a cat, you'll find yourself up at midnight searching "is this vomiting normal," "is this poop okay," "why is she meowing like that," and still not knowing who to trust. Furwise fills that gap in between: the things you wished you knew before the visit, and the things you need to follow through on after. Each cat gets its own profile and timeline. One link invites the family to log together, so nothing depends on conversation or memory. Snap a photo, jot a few words; weekly and monthly summaries pull it all together as you go.
Core features
- One-tap logging. Feeding, water, weight, litter, all in seconds. Each cat's records stay separate.
- Family sharing. One invite link, everyone sees the same record, updates sync in real time.
- Observations that build. Photos, notes, weights add up. Weekly and monthly summaries surface what's changing as you keep recording.
- Meds and vaccine reminders. Doses, vaccines, and deworming schedules for every cat, all in one place, with a heads-up before each one is due.
- Multi-cat switching. One tap between cats, each with its own ongoing story.
Why Furwise
- Designed by someone who works in a vet clinic. Every feature comes from what real owners actually face.
- Built for multi-cat households. Each cat has its own profile and reminders, so things don't get mixed up.
- One app for the whole family. No more group chats or verbal handoffs.
- Your understanding of each cat accumulates, instead of leaking away when caretakers change or memory fades.
- Walk into vet visits with the full record. The conversation gets shorter on both ends.
- Free for one cat. Pro covers a whole multi-cat household.
- Free on the iOS App Store. Simple to use.
Who it's for
Furwise isn't a substitute for medical care. It's the piece in between that owners have always had to figure out alone: better prepared going into the vet, more confident following through after. Most cat apps assume one person, one cat. Furwise is built for real life: a family, several cats, anyone in the household can join, anyone can update, and someone's always keeping track of each cat's normal.
- Multi-cat households: Each cat has its own profile and reminders. Nothing gets mixed up.
- Co-caretakers: Partners, roommates, parents. Anyone joins via one link and stays in sync.
- Owners who want to understand their cat better: Build a real picture of each cat's normal and changes over time.
- Households juggling meds and vaccines: Reminders before each one is due. Nothing slips.

We have three cats and honestly I used to lose track of who'd been fed and who got their meds. Now my husband and I both just log it from our own phones, so it doesn't matter who's on cat duty that day, it's all there. Saves us the "did you already give her the pill?" texts. Big help if you've got a few pets and more than one person taking care of them.
